Drive-by shooting in Meadowbrook neighborhood in Fort Worth results with child shot and injured, police

Fort Worth, TX – Monday morning drive-by shooting in Fort Worth resulted with one child shot and injured, the local authorities confirmed.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the shooting took place Monday morning around 10 a.m. in the Meadowbrook neighborhood near East Lancaster Avenue and Oakland Boulevard.

Police are now looking for two shooting suspects accused of the shooting.

Authorities confirmed that the child suffered at least one gunshot wound in the incident, but didn’t disclose more details. However, the child seems to be in stable condition and is expected to survive.

The child was taken and treated in a local hospital right after the incident.
