As we approach the holiday season, local radio station starts with their 43-day-long Christmas program

North Texas – As we approach the holiday season, many events, parades and celebrations are about to take place in the North Texas area.

Additionally, some radio stations also prepare their program for the holiday period.

One of them is Star 102.1 and they already started their Christmas program on Friday set to last until Dec. 25.

This is their 6th year doing the long Christmas music run. Starting Friday, they will play holiday music for 43 days until Christmas.

The station has a reason besides the season. Programmers said the holiday music makes it the most listened-to station during the holidays.
